Cruising with the Haines 1070

Haines Marine is a small family owned shipyard in England which builds houseboats since 1980. The comfortable cabin cruiser for inland waters made of glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) is easy to handle and offer lots of space and comfort inside. You can choose between Haines 1070 and 1190.

Cabins: comfortable with lots of space
You can choose between a version with two or three cabins. Some of the berhts can easily be changes from two twins into a double berth. Each cabin has a bathroom with toilet, shower and washbasin with hot and cold running water. You can also find 230 Volt sockets in the cabins (over shore supply and 2.000 Watt inverter) which can be used for your own electric equipment.

Saloon with comfortable benches

The saloon offers lots of space. The main steering position is midships at the portside. On all Haines boats is lots of storage space for glasses, phones, sun milk bottles, spy glasses and for other utensils. The seating area can be changed into a double berth. The pantry is part of the saloon.

The pantry is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. Everything you need stored in cupboards. A stainless steel sink with hot and cold running water, a fridge and a gas stove complete the furnishing.

On deck: navigate and relax outside

There is a spacious bathing platform with outdoor shower (hot and cold running water) and a folding bathing ladder on the aft deck. On deck are the second steering position with echo sounder (only in Germany) and a seating area with a folding table.
