Welcome aboard

Dear boating people,

it was the first big cruise for my son (he was just a baby), but he cannot remember the manually operated locks and the shores abundantly covered with vegetation. He also thinks that the first towing locomotive he ever saw were in France. But anyway, me and my family were enchanted by the Finow Canal.

With the opening of the Werbellin Canal connecting the Werbellin Lake with the Finow Canal, the two isolated water districts became a big one. It also bridges the gab between the waterways of Berlin and the gateway to the upper Havel and Lake District. The best thing is that it lies next to Berlin. We thought that would be an ideal place to open a new base in spring 2012. We will offer most of our boats for trips starting from Marienwerder - on the Finow Canal, the Werbellin Lake as well as to the boat-lift in Niederfinow and to the river Oder.

Our new cruiser Aquino 1190 will also be available. This boat will get its own Wi-Fi spot aboard and some other new achieved improvements. The newly offered boat type Haines is a modern two-cabin-boat (GRP) with more wooden surfaces inside. They are no faster than the Kormoran boats, but who needs speed while being on vacation?
