Our locations
Hafendorf Müritz
KUHNLE-TOURS’ head office and our reservation are in Hafendorf Müritz, gateway to the amazing Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Between Schleswig-Holstein and the Polish border, between the Baltic Sea and Brandenburg, there is an area of immense natural beauty, comprised of numerous lakes. Most of the navigable lakes are connected by a 2500km network of waterways, consisting of rivers and canals. Castles, churches, monasteries, picturesque villages, large woods and gentle hills are there to be visited. In the centre of this landscape is the Müritz, the largest lake of the area, often described as the blue heart of Mecklenburg. On the south-eastern shoreline, our harbour village, Hafendorf Müritz takes advantage of the ideal watersports opportunities inherent to the region and acts as a great charter base.
Erlebnissteg Kleinseenplatte (Mirow/Granzow am See)
At this very small base we only offer day cruisers for hire from a few hours to a full day. Availability is usually good, however if you want to be sure to get the right boat, reservations are recommended. Directions
Zeuthen
Here you are close to the German capital and your warm welcome will have a distinct Berlin-accent. Be sure to ask our staff for some ideas; they have been with KUHNLE-TOURS since this base was opened in 1995 and know the area very well. In fact they will tell you, the possibilities from this base are endless. Directions
Brandenburg Plaue
In April 2007 we opened up our seventh base in Brandenburg-Plaue at the lower Havel-Waterway. You are permitted to travel on the beautiful river and its surrounding waterways with the charter permission. You can discover the Havel lakes without a boating licence.
The beautiful lower Havel is within untouched nature. You can drive from Plaue up to the Elbe mouth. At the Havel are only a few locks and these are quite big. So you do not have long waiting time. The Havel between the city Brandenburg and Havelberg at the Elbe is still an insider tip for boating with cultural highlights. Directions
Schwerin
Our fleet is located in Schwerin since the Federal German Garden Show 2009. The base is only a foot steps away from the old town. You can perfectly combine a visit to Schwerin and a short holiday on our boats.
The Schwerin lake has perfect bays for swimming. On a longer trip you can explore the Schwerin lake and the Müritz-Elde-Waterway. Directions here.
Stralsund
Our base is right in the centre of Stralsund and is well-equipped. The interior waterways, called "Bodden", provide peaceful boating opportunities with a great variety of attractions. Quiet bays and beaches, little fishing villages with well-serviced harbours, islands, nature parks and the big cities of the "Hanse" are waiting for you. Directions
Piaski (Poland)
Our base is situated in a harboured bay along Lake Beldahn only a few kilometers from the holiday resort Rucianne Nida. Piaski is a good starting point to explore the Great Mazurian Lakes. There are only two locks in the whole area of lakes and streams, both located in the south and only opening up a few more lakes. So this boating area is ideal for people who are not so keen on locks. Directions
Niderviller (France)
Close to the French-German border Alsace-Lorraine has had a colourful past ruled by France then Germany, then changing hands again a number of times. Our fleet is located in Niderviller, an ideal port from which to discover the French waterways and gastronomic specialties. Directions
Sierck-les-Bains (Mosel-wineregion)
Our new base Sierck-les-Bains is located close to the German border at the French river Mosel. This base gives you the opportunity to discover the three countries France, Germany and Luxembourg and their variety and history. Directions
