The Kormoran houseboats are already a permanent fixture on German and French waterways. With the third generation of the Kormoran series, Kuhnle Werft has now implemented many additional advantages and customer requests.

Primus Kormoran
The Kormoran houseboat range is deemed to be the most beautiful charterboats in Europe. The cozy steel displacer is easy to maneuver and offers much comfort below deck. They have a big saloon with excellent head room of 1.95 metres. There is a comfortable sitting area and up to 4 cabins. The after deck has enough space for a table and chairs. The roof sun deck and bathing platform are spacious and normally the most popular places on the boat.

Mecklenburg Lake District
The Mecklenburg Lake District consists of more than 1000, largely interconnected lakes. It will be a great trip through nature and history. The banks of the waterways are fringed by forests, meadows and marshes. Nature dominates the landscape, but there is also a well developed infrastructure in this region. Plauer see, Fleesensee, Kölpinsee and Müritz build the Mecklenburg Upper Lakes. Since there are no locks anymore and only a few bridges, it is an ideal area for houseboats and sailing. South of the Müritz the smaller lakes in the heart of the Mecklenburg and Märkischen waters begin. Narrow, deep valley lakes, circular shallow lakes and short canals form a unique European water sports paradise.
Mosel and the Rhine - Marne Canal
The 290 km long Rhine - Marne Canal connects the Rhine valley and the basin of Paris. The canal flows from the Rhine at Strasbourg to Vitry - le - François behind Toul. Partly the canal and the Mosel cross the Regional Natural Park of Lorraine ( Parc naturel régional de Lorraine ), where the most unexpected flora and fauna can be found: Carnivorous plants in the marshes, orchids and gentian on Kalktrockenrasen, the grouse on the high pastures and wild lynx in the woods.
In addition to the natural beauty of this area along the route, there is the historic Nancy via Metz Cathedral and Art Museum and the lively Thionville .

Families
This modern boat is in a traditional style and is suitable for families for up to 12 people. It is great for grandparents, parents and children. It offers a comfortable living area, ample space in the cabins, a large sun deck, wide swim platform and is easy to maneuver. Every Kormoran has large shelves for toys, glasses, phones, sunscreen, binoculars and other paraphernalia.
Beginners
The boats have special equipment, that even beginners can comfortably steer and easily maneuver the boat. The hydraulic bow thruster makes the boat much easier to control and can be operated from outside or inside.
Dog Lovers
Pets are welcome on our houseboats. The Kormoran boats are easy for any dog to jump on and off, there is a low swimming platform at the stern and no steep ladders.
Couples
For couples who do not want to miss out on spaciousness and comfort, the Kormoran series of boats is perfect. The spacious salon, the sun deck, the comfortable cabins and the large swimming platform provide space to be on your own or together.
