Our Riverlodge Village is a small cluster of cozy, heated houseboats on a jetty in the Müritz harbor village. Here you can rent one of our most popular boats in spring and autumn: a Kormoran or a Febomobil. In the middle of the Riverlodge Village, the sauna houseboat is moored, which you can use free of charge during your stay on one of the boats on the Müritz! To do so, reserve your sauna times via our online booking.
You will be moored with the houseboat for the entire duration of your stay in the Müritz harbor village and can enjoy the comfort of a fully equipped houseboat with double glazing and solid insulation. The houseboats are composed like vacation homes: Sleeping cabins, bathrooms, a cozy salon and a practical galley. Febomobiles are barrier-free houseboats that are also wheelchair accessible.
And if the kitchen on your houseboat should ever remain cold, the Captains Inn will cater for the houseboat village residents on request until the end of October and then again from Eastern with its regional cuisine. For self-catering there is a special boat grill on board.
Ride with the houseboat
If you feel like experiencing the vastness of the waters yourself, there is a possibility to go on the booked houseboat for an additional fee. In order to steer the houseboat properly, you will receive on- site instruction and - depending on the type of boat - a charter certificate.
Or you can start your excursion with a small sport boat, which is also available for rent.

Kormoran 1140: a week with the family
The traditional Kormoran 1140 offers with its two cabins, two wet rooms, a large salon and a fully equipped galley enough space for a relaxing family vacation. You can even take SUPs and bicycles on board!
No matter if it's spring, colorful autumn or almost winter, thanks to the built-in hot water heating it stays cozy and warm on board.
Febomobil 990: a weekend for two
You finally want to enjoy time with your partner? Then our houseboat Febomobil 990 is super suitable: there is a cabin, a wet cell and a spacious salon with a fully equipped, open galley on board.
After you have indulged yourself with a home-cooked - or self-grilled - meal, you can watch the sunset from the roof terrace, snuggled up in a blanket.
Driving authorization from November
On the Mecklenburg Lake District there is no buoyage from November to show you where you can go. For this reason, you are only allowed to sail north on the Müritz with the sport boat license Binnen and only with the Kormoran type boats. Without a license you are allowed to sail the Müritz towards the southern waters with the Kormoran boats as well as with the Febomobil type boats. Your boats are equipped with STRIKER™ Plus 4cv from Garmin® to help you navigate. At the same time, this will record your route.
Please note the regulations regarding wind force: with the Febomobiles you are only allowed to sail up to wind force 4, the same applies to driving without a license. With the sport boat license Binnen and the boats of the type Kormoran you are allowed to sail up to wind force 6.
The locks Mirow and Plau as well as the bridge in Malchow are not in operation from December 1 to mid / end of March. Electricity, water, sewage and sanitary facilities are only in operation in the port village Müritz, in all other ports there is no service during this time.
