Notes on the Müritz cruising area

As there is no buoyage on the Müritz in winter, only skippers with the boats Kormoran and Aquino are allowed to sail on the Müritz and the surrounding waters with an inland sports boat licence only. Skippers may only sail in a southerly direction without a licence. Buoy 10 on the small Müritz can be passed with the help of GPS. Febomobiles are not allowed to sail across the Müritz in a southerly direction only.

Up to wind force 4, skippers with the boats Kormoran and Aquino may sail without a sports boat licence, as may Febomobiles.

Up to wind force 6, skippers with the boats Aquino and Kormoran may only sail with an inland sports boat licence.

Electricity, water, sewage and sanitary facilities are only in operation at Hafendorf Müritz. From Hafendorf Müritz your boat is equipped with STRIKER™ Plus 4cv by Garmin® (fishfinder with echo sounder, GPS, waypoint map, speed indicator). As there are no buoys in the Müritz and Mecklenburg Lake District in winter, you must use GPS. Your route will be recorded.
